Techniques for Visualization

How visualization can harness the power of your imagination. This technique is great for people who feel a significant amount of stress and tension in life.

How many times have you heard the expression, A picture is worth a thousand words? This is so true in the case of visualization. Visualization is a great tool when dealing with illness or situations that are out of your control.

Visualization uses imagery to change your emotions, which change your feelings, which then change into physical sensations that can eliminate symptoms.

Your physical sensations can cause your body to react to different situations. For example, watching a scary film or if you become frightened you would possible get goose bumps. Visualization provides positive images for the mind that allows you to access the mind and body connection.

It has been proven that negative emotions lower your immune system and keep you bogged down. Having negative emotions delays and stops you from reaching your goals and actually inhibits the brain in accomplishing what you want.

Positive emotions actually boost the immune system. Making your brain work in a balanced mode, this is conducive to change.

With visualization, you use images or pictures to balance the brain. The brains divided into two areas. The left side is the logical side and the right side is the creative side. Throughout your life, you will use the logical side more than your creative side. When you use visualization, you use your creative side.

So remember, you are what you think so think positive.

I want at this point to say that visualization alone is not enough to succeed. Hard work and dedication is also needed in order to make your goal a reality. The way to achieve the result is by making it happen in your mind first. In other words, visualization allows you to take advantage of your inner ability, so imagine an experience that will help you focus on what you want to achieve.

The procedure for visualization is simple.

Firstly, find a quiet place, secondly define your intention, and thirdly concentrate on your breath and breathing, fourthly begin your visualization.

Keep one thought in mind. In order to get the most out of visualization, messages to your subconscious mind need to be agreed with what you visualize; otherwise, you will never create the things that you visualize, no matter how hard you try. This can be easily controlled; from this point forward, you should only think positive, loving, affirming, supportive and respectful words to yourself and others. You only engage in those activities that are healthy, productive, energizing and successful for you and others. It is not only about visualization it is also about a completely new way of life.

Think of it this way.

A team player with yourself -A team player with others
Visualization usually takes six weeks to work and should be done first thing in the morning and at night before bedtime. However, many people do find results after the very first time. To affect a successful outcome you need to be specific when you define your intention and FEEL, KNOW and TRUST that it is going to work.

Visualization and Guided imagery is a technique that assists you in creating what you want in your life. Think of it this way. You are sending a picture or an image to your subconscious mind and you are allowing your mind to believe what it is seeing, is real. The subconscious mind does not discriminate between real or imagined images. It simply sees and processes what it is given and then without even questioning your subconscious mind begins creating what you see.

The key to visualization and guided imagery is believing what you see without doubt.

If you are visualizing yourself as a thriving, successful, healthy and focused person, then the reality is that your subconscious mind will create it. When you have done this for a thirty-day period and you have done it properly, your reality becomes what you think.

You may be asking why thirty days?

The mind teaches us that when you engage in any thought process and think it is for real for 21 to 30 days, the thought is in your subconscious mind and becomes you. Many successful athletes, politicians, actors/actresses and other successful people understand that by utilizing the power of the mind to affect change will move them towards the best they can be. They create a movie of success in their mind, before actually engaging in their activity. They always see their success ahead of time. They also know that by engaging for more than 21 to 30 days becomes automatic and real.

It is this simple!

Do not doubt the theory.

* It is real.

* t is right.

* t is timely to understand.

You cannot afford to pass, understanding this simple, yet powerful theory of your mind

Remember, your subconscious mind receives a number of messages from you every second of your day, both awake and asleep. The subconscious mind is always awake. Though your conscious mind will sleep, your subconscious mind is your gatekeeper. Use it wisely. It creates your reality based on the messages you think, say and do.
