Meeting your spirit guide meditation

Meeting your spirit guide meditation This meditation will allow you to meet and connect with your spirit guide.

 

Sit comfortable and place your arms resting easily at your sides and close your eyes. As you take a deep breath start to visualize that the earth below you is filled with the color of your choice. The color extends 50 feet (17 Meters) below you into the earth. Now start to image that you are opening up energy centers on the bottom of your feet. As you inhale visualize the soft color filing up your feet. When your feet are completely filled with the color, bring the color up through your ankles, legs, pelvis and lower back.

Each time you exhale see the color leaving through your lungs, carrying any tension and stress with it. See the tension dissolve into the air. Continue to inhale the color into your abdomen, chest, shoulders, arms, neck and head. Exhale the color slowly out of your lungs. When you feel comfortable and relaxed you can start the meditation.

When you are ready, I would like you to enter your special place, your sanctuary. As you look in front of you, there is a flight of white steps.

As you look up the steps, you see a soft mist that comes up from the side of the steps and covers each step, walk to the foot of the step.

In a few minutes I am going to ask you to climb the steps, but before I do this, I want you to feel at peace and notice how tranquil and safe you feel. Give yourself time before you embark on your own important journey.

Now start to climb the steps, slowly upwards, higher and higher. As you stand on each step, you might see special objects or artifacts. Start to notice your feelings, you are now about to reach a sense of deep peace and expectation. The mist is surrounding you and it makes you glow. I am going to leave you to carry on climbing the steps.

Now you are at the top, the mist is becoming thinner and you can hear faint music. As you walk forward you can hear the music more clearly.

The music now seems to be all around you and inside you, soft and gentle. As the mist disappears, you find yourself in a lush meadow, the sun is shinning, the grass is emerald green and the colors around you have depth and beauty. The music is now surrounding you. In front of you, there is a glistening waterfall cascading over rocks and the water runs into a clear river.

As you look up someone is coming towards you from the direction of the waterfall. You start to feel a sense of warmth and recognition. “I would like to introduce you to your spirit guide ”. Greet your spirit guide and listen attentively to anything your guide has to say. Your guide is your friend, guardian, and spiritual mentor. Ask your spirit guide any questions you wish. Before I leave you with your spirit guide, I want to ask you to make no attempt to control what unfolds everything develops in its own way.

It is now time for you to make you way back to the steps. Before you do this, listen to your spirit guides final words. Your spirit guide might give you a gift or some special advice, this you should treasure. You may wish to give a gift to your guide; this can be a pledge or merely a thank you. Now I would like you to turn into the mist and slowly go down the steps carrying your gift back into your sanctuary. You can leave your gift here or take it away with you for safe keeping. The guide that you met is your inner guide a teacher who helps you with any issues that trouble you. You can visit your spirit guide frequently helping to deepen your relationship.

When you are ready, I would like you to stretch your arms, wiggle your toes and start to become aware of your surroundings, open your eyes and find yourself back where you started.
